CHAPTER 6: Part 1 - the Date

***This is an original story written by Rafaela Medrano Roark. Co-written by Vincenzo Pinari. The Original Charater, Ryusai, was created by VP***

***POV RYU***

I was staring at the sealing of my hospital room, anxious. That Uchiha brat and I would be discharged today, and our ‘tour’ of the village would begin. Almost all my physical wounds were healed and from what I’ve heard, she has been almost fully recovered for 2 days now.

I slowly forced myself out of bed and began packing the few things I had brought to the hospital with me. I made sure to put on my kunai pouches; just in case todays outing took a turn for the worse.

As I stepped out into the hallway, I saw Yukoto and Sakura chatting and laughing. Yukoto appeared to be signing her discharge paperwork.

I walked up to them with arms crossed, doing my best to avoid eye contact with Yukoto, “Are you ready to go?” I asked with a hint of bitterness in my tone.

Before Sakura could begin to scold me, the Uchiha girl set down the pen she was using and turned to face me, “Ready as I’ll ever me,” She said in a fake soft tone. She gave a little bow, “Than you again for taking me on this tour. I truly appreciate it.” She then turned to Sakura and bowed again, “And thank you for treating my wounds and giving me a place to stay!”

Sakura shook her head and smiled, “No no, don’t mention it! It was a pleasure. I will make sure to have a hot meal ready for you when you get to my place tonight.” Sakura smiled softly at her and then turned to face me. Her expression became cold, “You take care of her Ryu and make sure to get her back to my place before dark!”

“yeah yeah, don’t worry. She’ll be there,” I signed and looked to Yukoto, “Let’s get this over with.”

We spent the first half of our tour in dead silence. You could say the tension between us could sharpen a kunai.

I made sure she walked a couple steps ahead of me so that I could be sure to watch her every move.

“Seriously, why do I have to look after someone who literally tried to kill me not even 5 days ago.” I thought to myself, “I rather go on a month-long mission then be stuck babysitting this Uchiha brat.” I signed, giving her a quick up down, trying to determine where she could have any weapons hidden, “Just stay focused Ryu… Don’t take your eyes off her for a second. At any moment she could unleash that Susanoo of hers and the village will be in chaos.”

***Yukoto POV***

I could feel the white-haired freak’s eyes burning into the back of my neck.

“Jeez this guy is so uptight. First he barges into my room demanding a rematch and now he won’t even walk beside me or make eye contact…” I thought, “He could relax at least a little bit considering there are about half a dozen anbu following us.”

As we walked through the village, many people began to stop and stare. I could hear them whispering stuff like “Uchiha bastard,” or , “I heard Ryu saved her,” and “I heard she tried to kill leaf Shinobi.”

I let out a sigh and looked back at Ryu, “So I guess the rumors spread quickly around here.”

He rolled his eyes, “yeah… but if you ask me- the rumors got it all wrong.”

I slowed my pace so I could walk beside him, “oh? Why do you say that?” I said with a hint of sass in my tone.

“BECAUSE THEY MAKE IT SOUND LIKE I WAS HELPLESS AGAINST YOU! IT’S SO ANNOYING!” He snapped. We both quickly realized that all eyes were on him now.

While he, and the rest of the village were distracted by his little temper tantrum, I took the opportunity to slip away.

***Ryu POV***

I sheepishly waved as some passing leaf villages, trying to back paddle from my little outburst. With a sigh I turned to face Yukoto, “great look what yo…” I paused, realizing that the Uchiha girl was no longer beside me. “WHAT THE HELL! WHERE DID SHE GO?” I yelled, quickly jumping to the nearest roof top to try and spot her. “Man, Sakura and Kakashi Sensei are going to kill me…”

I scanned the area and spotted her raven black hair standing outside a familiar restaurant. I jumped down off the roof, landing right beside her.

“You know with everything going on, you shouldn’t leave my side like that,” I scolded, “ I know you can sense the anbu following us. They are under orders to take you out the moment you pose a threat.”

She remained silent, just staring at the famous roman shop’s sign.

“Are you hungry?” I asked.

“I heard of this place once from my uncle… And Kakashi Sensei DID tell you to take care of me, so wouldn’t that include buying a helpless girl some food?” She looked up at me with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes, “Fine… let’s get some food.”

“yay! It’ll be just like a date!” she teased, “it’ll give you practice for when a girl actually feels sorry enough to go out with you!”

I snarled, “Why you little…..”

She shook her finger at me, “ah ah ha remember what Lord Hokage said!”

I shot her a glare and signed, “Let’s just eat ok?” I held the curtain back so that she could walk in before me. This Uchiha Bratt was going to be a challenge for me, that’s for sure.

CHAPTER 4: Part 2- Sensei

***This is an original story written by Rafaela Medrano Roark. Chapter 4 is co-written by Vincenzo Pinari. The Original Charater, Ryusai, was created by VP*** I knew leaving the Shobuto behind was the right course of action, however I had no earthly idea where I was going to go from here. Even though I was homeless with no direction, I didn’t care- I was free. For several weeks, I would sneak into the Academy at night. There wasn’t much food or space, but it was a roof over my head. I continued to go on missions and continue life “business as usual”. I kept my leaving/banishment to myself, as to not stir up concern amongst my team. My jutsu training also continued. I was even able to develop a few original jutsu of my own thanks to the skills my mother taught me.  One evening, due to a massive storm, the Academy got locked down before I had returned from my mission, leaving me on the streets that night. I had not yet been paid for my latest mission, leaving me penniless; unable to ...

CHAPTER 1: Part 1- The Obduction

****This is an original story based in the Naruto Universe written by Rafaela Medrano Roark**** October 10th - what a night. It was many things, but peaceful is not one of them.  After his loss against Minato, my uncle, Obito, retreated to his old house to hide from the anbu who were hot in pursuit. He must have figured that with the village busy combatting the rampaging 9 tailed beast- only the children would remain hidden and guarding the houses. Obito peered into his old bedroom window, taking note of the changes his younger sister had made. He and Zaria, my mother, were very close once; so, his death kind of pushed her over the edge. From what I have been told, she could often be found at the local bar. That is also where she met my father apparently.  Anyway- as Obito scanned the room, he noticed a pure white bassinet hidden in the corner. “Zaria is a mother?” he thought to himself.  Intrigued, my uncle cracked the window open which let a so...

Introduction

****This is an original story based in the Naruto Universe written by Rafaela Medrano Roark**** Hello, my name is Yukoto Uchiha. You have probably never heard of me before, but that’s ok, most bastard children get over looked. I am the daughter of the legendary Sannin, Jiraiya and the outcast Uchiha, Zaria. You have probably heard of my older cousins, Sasuke and Itachi, as well as my uncle Obito… We are a pretty messed up family to say the least- but you don’t choose your clan, right? Anyways, if you are here, then I’m sure you have heard all of their stories. How the 4th Hokage put the 9 tailed fox into his own son to save the village… How Itachi slaughtered his entire clan and joined the Akatsuki… How Sasuke went rogue to hunt down his brother… But the story I bet you haven’t heard, is the one about the girl born with the sharingan eyes. That’s right! You read that correctly- I was born with my sharingan already awoken. Wasn’t bad enough that I was a bastard, but I was also we...
