***Yukoto POV***

Before Sakura could answer me, a loud crash came from the hall. Yelling followed shortly after.

“YOU CAN’T GO IN THERE!  LORD HOKAG…” the woman’s sentence was cut off by my hospital room door being kicked in.

“I WANT ANOTHER GO! LET ME AT THE UCHIHA BRATT!” Ryu yelled as nurses tried restraining him.

Sakura and Kakashi took defensive stances in front of m while also remaining calm. A tall blond girl appeared behind Ryu, making a triangular sign with her hands. Before she could take action the Hokage shook his head and sighed.

“Ah, I see you are awake now Ryu, perfect timing.” Kakashi said, rubbing the back of his neck. “I was just going to send Sakura to get you.” He turned and looked towards me for a moment, “Our guest has awoken and confirmed what you had stated in your report. It would appear you managed to find and rescue a surviving Uchiha.”

Ryu froze a moment and glanced quickly between me and the hokage. He furred his brows and shrugged the nurses off him, “Rescue isn’t the term I’d use…”

Kakashi shot him a glare, “regardless of how your first encounter may have occurred, Ms. Yukoto is very grateful to you for aiding in her return to the hidden leaf. Isn’t that right?”

I nodded directing my gaze from Kakashi to Ryu, “It’s true. I never thought I’d see the inside of these walls again.” I looked down at my hands, trying to display a sense if innocence and nerves. “I was just a babe when I was taken from my mother…”

Sakura placed her hand on top of mine and smiled, “Well you’re home now. And we are very excited to get to know you! Isn’t that right, Ryu?” she said, turning her head to look at him with the most terrifying mom glare I’d ever seen.

Ryu let out a little snarl and looked away, “yeah sure.”

Kakashi chuckled, “Well I am glad you feel that way Ryu, because I was going to ask YOU to show Yukoto around the leaf once you both are discharged.”

The disgust and shock in his face was incredibly satisfying. He wanted to protest, but Lord Hokage shut him down before he could even say a work.

“It’s settled then.” Sakura said, giving her soft smile again, “I would also be honored to host you in my home Yukoto, until you get settled!”

My smile was genuine this time. Sakura seemed like a sweet woman. “Thank you, I truly appreciate that!”

She nodded and turned to the boys, “all right now you two, out.  Yukoto-san needs her rest and time to heal!”

Ryu turned in a huff and stormed out of the room, Kakashi stopping him in the hall.

“Sakura-san!” I called as she was about to leave my room. As she turned to make eye contact, I found myself getting nervous and I quickly shifted my gaze to the ground, giving a slight bow, “Thank you so much for tending to my wounds and giving me a place to stay. I promise I will make it up to you.” She smiled softly and nodded, closing the door gently as she left.

***POV Ryu***

Rage filled me as I stormed off into the hall. “How could Sakura and Kakashi be so blind! She is not an ally of the leaf.” I thought to myself.

“If I didn’t know better I’d say there is visible smoke coming out of your ears right now Ryu.” Kakashi Sensei was leaning up against the wall, his eyes wondering around the busy hospital. “I know you don’t trust her, and I am well aware based on the damage she did to you, that she is very strong. But I also cannot continue the past stigma of negativity towards the Uchiha. Sasuke works day and night to redeem the name of his clan and I do not plan on trampling that. I assigned you to show her around because I trust your ability to handle things if she proves to be a threat.” His eyes finally met mine, “But until she proves that she has malicious intent, we must give her the benefit of the doubt and welcome her home. After all, she is an Uchiha. The leaf is her home. Do your best to make her feel welcome, ok?”

A heavy sigh escaped my lips as I nodded, “I still do not like the idea of her being allowed to roam free around the village, but I also trust your judgement lord Hokage… I’ll do as you have asked. But one wrong move an…”

“One wrong move and we will all do what is needed to defend the leaf… She will be with you through out the day, and Sakura at night. She is in capable hands- I have full faith in both of you.” With that, Kakashi turned to look at Yukoto’s hospital room door.

Sakura stood in the doorway. She had been listening to our conversation silently.

“Like it or not Ryu, Yukoto is one of 3 remaining Uchiha. The hidden leaf turned their back on my husband’s clan once before- we cannot do that again now.”

I knew she was right. I sighed and turned, walking back towards my room, “I guess we will see how it goes in a few days…”

CHAPTER 1: Part 3- The Uchiha’s Vengeance reborn

****This is an original story based in the Naruto Universe written by Rafaela Medrano Roark**** I was almost 17 when the 4 th great ninja war began. Madara and Obito had spent so long planning out every little detail. I still can’t believe they failed. As the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke drew to a close, Team 7 was once again reunited. It honestly sickened me a little to see them so cheery as the smell of burnt flesh and blood filled the air. I watched the whole war from a distance. I watched my uncle fall. I watched Madara awaken the power of the sage of 6 paths. I watched Sasuke once again betray the Uchiha name. I wanted to do something- I wanted to help. But my uncle’s words, “you will only get in the way,” echoed through my head. If only I had been stronger. If only I’d been faster. Maybe I could have saved them. The craving for vengeance overwhelmed me. I could have killed him. Sasuke. Right then and there. He was weak, he was injured. But with his te...

CHAPTER 4: Part 1- The Exile

***This is an original story written by Rafaela Medrano Roark. Chapter 4 is co-written by Vincenzo Pinari. The Original Charater, Ryusai, was created by VP*** Rage pumped through my veins as I stormed into the Clan Meeting Hall. I didn’t care what punishment awaited me- I just wanted justice for my mother. My eyes glowed orange with fury as I scanned the room, eventually locking gazes with my uncle.  “What is the meaning of this!?” He exclaimed. “I have something to say to you all, and for once you are going to shut your mouths and listen,” I snarled.  My glanced over at my father, who had a pleading expression on his face. He knew what I was about to do and always was aware of the price I would pay for my actions.  “All my life you’ve treated me like a disgrace, even though I’ve done everything you ever asked of me. But no matter how perfect I strive to be, it was never enough simply because my blood is tainted with that of my mother’s. I worked so hard to be the perfect...

***This is an original story written by Rafaela Medrano Roark. Chapter 5 is co-written by Vincenzo Pinari. The Original Charater, Ryusai, was created by VP*** ***POV Ryusai*** I woke up upon on Yang’s back. We were outside the gates of the hidden leaf- medical shinobi approaching us. I looked to my left and there stood Ying with the Uchiha girl on his back. I was to weak to move or even talk, and honestly I am pretty sure I blacked out again, because my next memory was waking up in a hospital bed with Ino standing right beside me. “Look who is finally awake. You stupid kid. What were you thinking running off and leaving Shikamaru’s side?” She said, smacking the back of my head with her clipboard. “You are just lucky your tigers were there to protect you and bring you home!” I rubbed my head where she smacked me and sighed, “Aren’t medical shinobi supposed to heal not inflict more pain!” I gave a slight glare in Ino’s direction. She crossed her arms and narrowed h...
