Not long after my encounter with Kakashi Sensei, I found
myself sharing a room with some kid called Konohamaru, a Sarutobi. He was a
spoiled brat, but also very understanding and pretty cool at times. I shared my
story with him, about my clan and losing my mother, and I was shocked when I
found out his grandfather was the 3rd Hokage; who died defending the
leaf against Orochimaru. We understood each other’s pain which formed a bond between
us very quickly.
Kakashi Sensei held true to his promise and trained me. We
worked day and night with the goal of making me a ninja my mother would be proud
of. Since he had taken me on as his student, I inevitably became well acquainted
with his squad- the famous team 7- Naruto, Sakura, and eventually Sasuke as
well. Even though they were far out of
my league, they would assist with my training as often as possible. On top of
it all, Konohamaru would often train with me as well.
9 years have passed since I first started training with
Kakashi Sensei. I am a full fledged Jonin now and approved for S rank missions.
I began making a name for myself as I completed many missions in record time.
Most squads hated to work with me, but Konohamaru knew my style and we would
often team up. I was known as Ryusai Chinastu, the Jutsu maker. I was also
known as the firecracker ninja because my tactics and style could be, explosive
at times. I was finally a ninja my mother could be proud of. My only wish is
that she could be here now to see it for herself.
I never let a mission phase me. Each one I completed with minimal
effect and efficient timing. I took pride in my reputation and sometimes let it
effect my ego a little to much. But there is one mission that changed my life
forever. My skills where put to the ultimate test. The funny part is, the
mission was technically over, but my welcome home was not what I was expecting.
***POV Ryu***
Shikamaru lead our squad home after another successful mission.
Me being the impatient person that I am, was several tree lengths ahead of the
rest of the team. As we neared the village, I suddenly sensed an odd chakra, similar
to Sasuke’s but I knew it was not him. I came to a sudden stop and landed on
the path below. Shikamaru noticed my change and behavior and appeared quickly beside
me.
“what is it Ryu?” He asked, his eyes scanning the path ahead
for potential enemies.
“I am not quite sure, but I sense a strange, almost toxic
chakra.” Without warning I took off running once again. “Get back to the
village, I will meet you there!” I yelled leaving Shikamaru and the team in a
cloud of dust. I knew Shikamaru trusted my judgement and would lead the team as
I suggested.
Now I could place my focus completely on the source of the
odd chakra. As I neared the village, I saw a clearing in the trees. A cold
chill went down my spine causing me to slide to a stop. Infront me me stood a
tall girl with raven black hair and crimson eyes. I had never felt a chakra
like this before. It overwhelmed me. I knew she was dangerous and powerful.
“Why are you?” I demanded.
She chuckled slightly, and with a blink of her eyes, I
noticed a change in their form. Black outlines amidst the red. “The sharingan?”
I muttered.
