“So, let me get this straight, “said Suigetsu, “You need me to help you locate the whereabouts of team 7- which consists of 3 of the most powerful shinobi in the hidden leaf- so that you can strategically enter the village under the radar.”
I nodded.
“Uh-uh. No way! I am NOT getting on Sasuke and Naruto’s bad side! Not to mention Sakura just had a baby and has those psycho motherly instincts now. She will pound me into the ground if she finds out I helped you. No way! I’m out!” He turned to leave the room, but I quickly shut the door, blocking his path.
I grinned seductively, “Wait, don’t go. I’m only asking for a little noncommittal. Just meet me in the middle. Our little secret’s safe in here.” I gestured around the room as I walked towards him. As I pinned him against the table, Suigetsu’s face turned red once again. “You’ve got pontential Sui, and I think you have been undervalued long enough! I see your worth. I see your knowledge. And I desperately need your help.” I pleaded with a smirk on face.
He gulped, looking me up and down, unsure how to respond to the fact that I was standing so close to him. “Fine. I’ll help you… But like you said- no commitment- no loyalty! If ANYONE comes to question me, I rat you out instantly!”
I smiled and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before stepping away. “You are my hero,” I said with a hint of sarcasm.
He slid away in a puddle of water and reformed by his computer. “Let’s just get this over with… Let’s see. Sakura should have just returned to work at the hospital by now, and based on the records I see here, Naruto and Sasuke are away from the village on a mission at the moment.”
“I want to meet Sakura first, get the sympathy card… Maybe I can pick a fight with someone outside the village. I doubt those ‘goodies’” can turn away an injured shinobi.
He shrugged, keeping his eyes on the computer, “I mean, I would imagine so. But you’d have to go up against a sizeable opponent. They won’t believe that someone with as much chakra as you fell to just anyone.”
I paced the room for a moment, “Are there any active S rank missions that have reported back as completed and would be returning to the village? Maybe I can intercept the shinobi on their way home.”
He nodded and began searching. “Oh, this would be perfect. This firecracker of a ninja can never turn down a good fight- and his sensory abilities would be enough to locate your chakra levels and bring him to you!”
I walked over to his side, “Oh, that sounds perfect. What is his name?”
“Ryu. They refer to him as the jutsu maker. He is strong and fast but shouldn’t be too much for you to handle.” Suigetsu said as he turned to face me, a proud look on his face.
I pat his cheek and smirked. “Sounds perfect to me. Where is his squad now?”
He looked at the map and pointed. “They are returning from the hidden sound as we speak. If you take the southern path and cut through the river you should intersep…” Before he could finish his sentence, I dashed out of the room.
My window was small, and there was no way I was going to miss this prime opportunity. I removed the stone from my neck and placed it in my pouch, “This should allow my chakra to show just enough to be detected.” I muttered to myself.
My plan worked much better than I expected.
Within the blink of an eye, a swift blue figure dashed in front of me. I quickly jumped backwards and landed with my kunai in hand, ready to fight. He wore a blue suit with red trimming and his hair was white as snow.
“Who are you?” he demanded, distrust in his vibrant orange eyes.
My chains began to form behind me for defense, “My name is Yukoto- and I am the lost bastard Uchiha!”
