CHAPTER 2: Part 2- The Snake

****This is an original story based in the Naruto Universe written by Rafaela Medrano Roark****

Suigetsu was still flushed and refused to make eye contact with me. We sat across the table from one another, sipping our tea in complete silence. Not gonna lie, after being alone for so long, it was nice to have some company. It had been almost a decade since the last time I was in this cave. I was probably around 13 when Obito brought me here to meet Orochimaru.

*Flashback*

“Now Yukoto, you need to stay silent once we arrive at the cave,” Obito warned as we ran full speed through the forest. “Orochimaru is not one to be underestimated and if he senses your power, he may just shift his focus from Sasuke over to you.”

I rolled my eyes and sighed. “I still don’t know how you expect this to work when it’s not safe for me to look anyone in the eye.”

“You’ll be fine as long as you remain silent and keep your eyes to the ground. Now enough chatter, we are almost there,” Obito said as we neared a small clearing in the trees.

I remained perched on a branch while my uncle walked towards a stone wall. He wove a quick hand sign and uttered, “Release,” allowing a cave entry way to reveal itself. He gestured for me to follow and I quickly jumped to his side.

As we entered the cave, I could feel the cold chill of eyes watching us. Not long after, we saw guards charging in our direction and I instinctually jumped into my battle stance, ready to fight. Before I could draw a Kunai however, Obito raised his hand, “They are not here for us. Stand down.”

As usual, my uncle was right. The guards rushed right past us. We continued to walk down the long cave hall, hearing the guards screams echo behind us.

I looked back for a moment then up at my uncle. “Who were they after?”

“A very special young man. But don’t concern yourself with that; we are almost to Orochimaru’s lab. Remember, eyes down and do your best to suppress your Chakra.”

I nodded and looked down as we approached a room with a large metal door. A man with white hair and glasses was standing guard. He and Obito exchanged some words. He did not seem pleased by our presence, but he allowed us to enter.

Tall glass tubes, many containing young children, made an isle leading to a slab table which was currently covered in blood and tools. Hovered over the table was a pale man with long dark hair and snake like eyes. As we approached, I noticed one of the tubes was open and liquid was on the floor surrounding it. Someone had escaped.

“Well isn’t this a surprise?” The pale man said as he turned to face us. “I never thought I’d see you in my lab. Change your mind about my little offer?”

Obito shook his head, “I am here regarding different business.”

The man with the snake like eyes shifted his gaze to me. I quickly dropped my eyes to the floor, which caused him to chuckle a little.

“Oh, don’t be shy little one. What is your name?”

My uncle stepped in front of me and held out his hand revealing an amber. “Can you infuse the same suppression chakra that is in the 1st Hokage’s necklace, into this gem?”

Orochimaru shifted his gaze from me to the stone and nodded his head, “Should not be a problem. But who is it for may I ask?” He glanced back over in my direction.

“That is not something to concer…” Before my uncle could finish his sentence, the guards burst through the doors with a small white-haired boy in their custody.

He was frail and injured, but still trying to break loose from their grasp. He looked around the room, desperate for help, and for a split second we locked eyes. Almost instantly the boys head dropped, and his body went limp. Obito quickly covered me with his cloak.

“Look down child!” he snapped.

Orochimaru had a devilish grin as he took the stone from Obito’s hand and turned away, “I will have it ready for you by dawn. Please, make yourself at home till then.”

Dawn came, and as promised, Orochimaru presented my uncle with the orange stone. It had been hung on a silver chain and had a slight glow to it. My uncle and the serpent exchanged some muffled words and then we departed.

Once safe outside the cave, Obito turned to me and placed the Amber around my neck. “Here, until you are able to control your Genjutsu, this should help suppress your power and keep your chakra hidden.”

As we ran home, I looked down at this precious stone and smiled.

***Flashback over***

Suigetsu must have noticed me staring at my necklace and decided to finally break the silence.
“I don’t know why you still wear that thing. Not like you need it- you’ve had full control of your powers for a while now.”

I shrugged, letting the stone rest on my chest once again as I looked up, “It’s the only gift I’ve ever received other than cousin Itachi’s ring and chain. It is also the only thing I have left of my uncle.”
Suigetsu mumbled something under his breath and just shook his head. “I don’t get why you always looked up to that guy. He was a complete jer…” He cut himself off when he saw my chains slithering around the room. “Calm down… I’ll drop it… Anyways, what did you come here for?”

I smirk as my chains retracted into my back. I walk over to him and lean against the table. “I am so glad you asked! I need your help sneaking into the hidden leaf village. I think it’s time that the long-lost Bastard Uchiha returns home.”

CHAPTER 1: Part 3- The Uchiha’s Vengeance reborn

****This is an original story based in the Naruto Universe written by Rafaela Medrano Roark**** I was almost 17 when the 4 th great ninja war began. Madara and Obito had spent so long planning out every little detail. I still can’t believe they failed. As the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke drew to a close, Team 7 was once again reunited. It honestly sickened me a little to see them so cheery as the smell of burnt flesh and blood filled the air. I watched the whole war from a distance. I watched my uncle fall. I watched Madara awaken the power of the sage of 6 paths. I watched Sasuke once again betray the Uchiha name. I wanted to do something- I wanted to help. But my uncle’s words, “you will only get in the way,” echoed through my head. If only I had been stronger. If only I’d been faster. Maybe I could have saved them. The craving for vengeance overwhelmed me. I could have killed him. Sasuke. Right then and there. He was weak, he was injured. But with his te...

CHAPTER 4: Part 1- The Exile

***This is an original story written by Rafaela Medrano Roark. Chapter 4 is co-written by Vincenzo Pinari. The Original Charater, Ryusai, was created by VP*** Rage pumped through my veins as I stormed into the Clan Meeting Hall. I didn’t care what punishment awaited me- I just wanted justice for my mother. My eyes glowed orange with fury as I scanned the room, eventually locking gazes with my uncle.  “What is the meaning of this!?” He exclaimed. “I have something to say to you all, and for once you are going to shut your mouths and listen,” I snarled.  My glanced over at my father, who had a pleading expression on his face. He knew what I was about to do and always was aware of the price I would pay for my actions.  “All my life you’ve treated me like a disgrace, even though I’ve done everything you ever asked of me. But no matter how perfect I strive to be, it was never enough simply because my blood is tainted with that of my mother’s. I worked so hard to be the perfect...

***This is an original story written by Rafaela Medrano Roark. Chapter 5 is co-written by Vincenzo Pinari. The Original Charater, Ryusai, was created by VP*** ***POV Ryusai*** I woke up upon on Yang’s back. We were outside the gates of the hidden leaf- medical shinobi approaching us. I looked to my left and there stood Ying with the Uchiha girl on his back. I was to weak to move or even talk, and honestly I am pretty sure I blacked out again, because my next memory was waking up in a hospital bed with Ino standing right beside me. “Look who is finally awake. You stupid kid. What were you thinking running off and leaving Shikamaru’s side?” She said, smacking the back of my head with her clipboard. “You are just lucky your tigers were there to protect you and bring you home!” I rubbed my head where she smacked me and sighed, “Aren’t medical shinobi supposed to heal not inflict more pain!” I gave a slight glare in Ino’s direction. She crossed her arms and narrowed h...
